Malibu Wedding Photographer | Malibu Beach Inn | Malibu Beach Pier

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Rebecca and Juan’s engagement session in Malibu. We started the morning in front of the Malibu Beach Inn which is where Juan proposed.  We then walked a few hundred yards down the beach to the Malibu Beach Pier. I tried to get them to grab a pole and catch a few fish, but they claimed that photos were probably a better idea. After the pier, we drove up the Pacific Coast Highway a few miles to another beach where we grabbed just a few photos to finish our session.

Since I got to Malibu a few minutes early, I snapped this peaceful photo of the Malibu Beach Pier.

Rebecca and Juan’s wedding is in South Carolina next summer so they wanted a summery feel
to their photos–even though it was about 55 degrees when we started shooting.

I didn’t have to provide much coaxing to get these guys to kiss — with passion no less!

This reminds me of the silhouette project I did in
the 2nd grade. But that’s a story for another day.

See! I told you it was 55 degrees!

We should have gone inside the cafe for some coffee. But we didn’t.
